Spain retained their title from EuroBasket 2009, and after an 98:85 win against France in the final game of EuroBasket 2011 they won the championship for the second straight time.   Juan Carlos Navarro, who was voted MVP of the tournament scored a game-high 27 points in the win. Pau Gasol added 17 and 10 rebounds, while Rudy Fernandez finished with 14 points.   Tony Parker had 26 for France, while Boris Diaw added 12 and 7 assists.
