Rilski Sportist finished last at the Samel 90 tournament

BC Rilski Sportisti finished last at the Samel 90 international tournament, which they organized in Arena Samokov. The other participating teams were Lukoil Academic (Bulgaria), KK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia) and Keravnos (Cyprus).   Crvena Zvezda won the tournament after three straight wins - 81:73 against Keravnos, 89:76 against Lukoil and 73:65 against Rilski Sportist.   Lukoil Academic finished second with a balance of 2-1, while Keravnos and Rilski were third and fourth - with 1-2 and 0-3.   Filip Vukosavljevic impressed from Rilski′s new additions, finishing with double-double in two of the games. Stanislav Vaklinov and Branko Mirkovic also performed good for the home side.   Rileco is in Group A of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League with the teams of BC Galil Gilboa (Israel), KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski (Macedonia), KK Mornar Bar (Montenegro), BC Timisoara (Romania) and OKK Beograd (Serbia).
