Panathinaikos defeated Levski in Georgi Mladenov′s final game

The reigning European champion Panathinaikos Athens defeated BC Levski Sofia 97:78 in the final game of the legendary Bulgarian guard Georgi Mladenov. The match was played in front of a big crowd in Arena Armeec in Sofia.
Mladenov, who wore the #12 Levski jersey for the very last time was in the starting five for Konstantin Papazov′s team. For 10 minutes he scored 6 points, showing that some things can′t be forgotten.
In the end of the game, 12 seconds before the end, his jersey was taken up to the rafters of Arena Armeec. Mladenov was substituded by his 11-year old son Borislav, who scored the last basket of the game.
Aaron Harper scored 20 points for Levski, while Hrisimir Dimitrov added 17.
Seven Panathinaikos players finished in double digit scoring, led by Diamantidis with 13 and Logan with 12.News
