Galil Gilboa making their debut at home against OKK Beograd

BC Galil Gilboa are set to make their home debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, after playing their first ever game in the BIBL on the road in Montenegro. The Israeli vice-champions are hosting Serbian side OKK Beograd at home in Gan Ner.   Galil Gilboa started their participation in the Balkan League with a tough away win against the young team of Mornar Bar. Lior Lubin′s team should be happy that they went home with a 76:78 win from Montenegro, as they will be looking to extend the winning streak against OKK Beograd.   OKK Beograd can already be qualified as "veterans" in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as they are about to start their third straight season in the competition. Last season they reached the quarterfinals, where they lost to the future runner-up - Rilski Sportist from Bulgaria. The visit to Galil Gilboa will be OKK′s season opener in the BIBL for the new season.   Chaisson Allen was the top scorer for Galil Gilboa with 15 points in the win against KK Mornar. Dagan Yivzori and Joseph Jones added 12 points a piece, while Yan Martin had 11 along with 8 rebounds, 2 steals and a block for a total efficiency rating of 20. Amir Beir-Katz also added 11 points in the W.   The game between Galil Gilboa and OKK Beograd is set for 19.00 local time in Gan Ner. It will be broadcasted live on Channel 50 Israel (TV One) and SportMedia.TV.
