           Rilski Sportist made an incredible turn against KK Mornar Bar, taking their second consecutive victory in the EUROHOLD Balkan League this season.  Tonight in Arena Samokov Rosen Barchovski′s boys defeat Mornar Bar 87:76, after an amazing last period. The game was decided by the free-throws made by Rilski Sportist – 33 from 41 against 13 from 21 for the guests.
  
           Tonight’s game started with a hard personnel defence from the both sides,
 as Rilski and Mornar don’t let to their opponents to shot behind the three-point line, putting the game under the basket.  Filip Vukosavljevic giving Rileco a 2:0 lead, with a nice move i the paint. In the next minutes, Rilski focused their play to Vukosavljevic, as he managed to score 8 of the first 10 points of the team. Mornar were more successful in the first minutes, making a lot of pick and rolls and inside attacks. The guest team even got a double-digit lead when Akeem Scott made an incredible steal, followed by a dunk of the American guard setting the score to 10:20. After the end of the period both teams decreased their shooting percentage, as after 10 minutes of play the score was – 13:22.
 
           With the start of the second quarter Rileco succeeded to make a basket
and a foul, but even in the next offence of Mornar, Ivan Jelenic and Nikola
Ivanovic made a great „back door” for 16:24. The home side continued to dictate the play in this period, trying to decreased their trail, as Rilski started to play a 3-2 zone defence. Asen Velikov made a jump-shot with 6:39 to the end of the part, but Nikola Ivanovic answered immediately, scoring a three-pointer.  Akeem Scott simply broke the legs of Martin Marinov and Branko Mirkovic, managing to do whatever he wanted. After a supreme lay-up, the score was 32:39, with resting less than a minute of play in this period. Rosen Barchovski took a time-out, which helped his team to score a fast three-pointer by Branko Mirkovic Before halftime Mornar’s lead settling down to 35:41 after 20 minutes of basketball in Samokov.
 
           After halftime Rilski started with 5 unanswered points in the opening 2 minitues of the second half, decreasing their lead to only 1 point - 40:41. However Mornar didn′t seem like giving up and in their next offence Akeem Scott made a powerful three-point and was foul-on.  Filip Barovic made a stupid third foul, followed by a technical foul for him for his reaction after the call. Mirkovic made the two free-throws decreasing the difference to 42:45. Scott and Radosavljevic made 6 points in a row to 52:42 for the guests 5 minutes before the end of the quarter. From this point until the 27th minute of the game, Mornar scored only 2 points, against 9 for Rilski. Then again after the good series of the home team, the young Montenegrin squad gave an superb answer increased their lead to 10 points - 51:61. Until the end of the period the difference dropped to 57:63.
 
 
           The decisive last quarter was one of the most dramatic and incredible in the history of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as Rilski Sportist almost made a miracle, winning it 30:13. The team from Montenegro lost the control of the game in these 10 minutes, while the home side started to play on the top of their
efforts and deservedly won the game.
 
           Branko Mirkovic played a great game for Rilski, nailing 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Filip Vukosavljevic scored 27, along with 6 rebounds. Stanislav Vaklinov and Ante Bilbork added 10 points each.
 
            For the guests Akeem Scott was most efficient with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while Ivan Jelenic scored 23. Vukota Pavic ended with 7 points and 8 rebounds in the losing case.
