Forward Nikola Jovanovic joins BC Timisoara

Serbian forward Nikola Jovanovic is the latest addition to Timisoara′s roster. The 203-cm tall player joins the team in order to replace Robert Sarovic, who recentely received an injury.
Nikola Jovanovic was born on March 7th 1981. His first professional club was KK Mashinac Kraljevo, where he spent four seasons. After that he had stints with Ergonom Nis (Serbia), Etha Engomis (Cyprus), Swisslion Takovo (Serbia) and Atlas (Poland).
He started the current season with Greek side Kavala, but left the team in October. Last season he played for Polish club Anwil Wloclawek, as in 25 games in the championship of Poland he averaged 13.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest. Jovanovic′s statline in the Eurocup was 13.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists over six games.
Jovanovic is the fifth Serbian player in BC Timisoara, along with head coach Predrag Badnjarevic, who′s also Serbian.News
