Domestic leagues: Timisoara remained on top after a blowout against Craiova

The Romanian participant in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Timisoara remained on top of the table in their domestic championship, after a blowout 99:70 win against Craiova yesterday.   Bogdan Popescu led the team in scoring with 22 points in 29 minutes of action, while American Dominique Archie added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Branko Cuic finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Dan Paltinisanu and Nenad Markovic had respectively 13 and 10 points.   This was the team′s 10th win since the beginning of the season and they are currently occupying the first spot in the Romanian championship with a balance of 10-1.   The team′s latest addition - Serbian forward Nikola Jovanovic made his debut in this game.
