Domestic leagues: Timisoara with a close win at home

BC Timisoara remained on the first spot in the Romanian league after the games from Round 14 have been played. The team played against CSU Atlassib Sibiu at home and achieved a 101:97 victory in a close game.   Head coach Predrag Badnjarevic used only eight players in this game, as once again American forward Dominique Archie was the top performer for the team. Archie scored 28 points and added 10 rebounds. Zlatko Jovanovic added 29 points, Bogdan Popescu had 19 and 13 rebounds and Branko Cuic finished with 12 points.   Timisoara is on top of the standings with a balance of 11-1, while the second-placed team - Gaz Metan has 10 wins and 3 losses. Timisoara also have two games less at this point.
