BC Rilski Sportist are traveling to Romania to face local side BC Timisoara

BC Timisoara are hosting Rilski Sportist at Sala Constantin Jude in Round 7 of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League regular season. The two sides have already met in Group A, as in the first game in Samokov, the home side - BC Rilski Sportist took the win - 80:78.
In their game last week Rilski Sportist defeated Galil Gilboa 72:70 at home, as this was the first loss for the Israeli side. On the other side BC Timisoara also enjoyed a win last week, beating OKK Beograd in Belgrade by 9 points - 75:84.
 
In the first edition of the game betwen those two sides, which Rilski Sportist won 80:78 it was Branko Mirkovic who led Riletso with 18 points and 4 assists, while Filip Vukosavljevic had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Dominique Archie had 18 points and 10 boards for BC Timisoara.
 
Robert Sarovic leads BC Timisoara in scoring with 16.7 points per game, but he is sidelined due to an injury, so in his absence the Romanian side will turn to Sime Spralija, who had 17 points in his BIBL debut last week. Dominique Archie averages 14.3 points, Ivan Siriscevic has 14.0, Zlatko Jovanovic adds 13.7 and Bogdan Popescu scores 11.0 points per contest. Archie leads the team in rebounding - 6.5 rebounds per game, while Jovanovic has 3.7 assists average.
 
Filip Vukosavljevic leds Rilski both in scoring and rebounding - 17.8 points along with 6.8 rebounds per contest. Branko Mirkovic contributes with 16.7 points, and a team-high 4.8 assists, while Hristo Zahariev adds 8.8 points. Ante Bilobrk and Martin Marinov have 8.0 points per game a piece.
 
Rilski are currently second in Group A with a balance of 4 wins and 2 losses, while BC Timisoara are fourth with 2 wins and 4 losses.
 
The game is scheduled for 18.00 local time on the 24th of January in Sala Constantin Jude in Timisoara. Milivoje Jovcic (Serbia), Ademir Zurapovic (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Aleksandar Glisic (Serbia) will officiate the game. It will also be available to watch online at SportMedia TV.
