Domestic leagues: Feni gave up the top spot after a heavy loss to MZT

The defending EUROHOLD Balkan League and Macedonian champion - KK Feni Industries Kavadarci gave up the top spot in the Macedonian championship, after a heavy loss to one of their main opponents this season - MZT Skopje. Away from home at Aerodrom in Skopje, Emil Rajkovic′s side suffered a defeat by double-digits - 90:71, as this was the team′s fourth loss in their domestic championship this campaign.   The loss came after a very strong second half for MZT, which they won 38:23, as in the last period of the game Feni scored only 9 points.   Dusan Knezevic scored 17 points in the loss, Marko Simonovski had 16 and Kiril Nikolovski finished with 14.   Todor Gecevski led MZT with 27 points and 7 rebounds, while Igor Mijajlovic added 19 off the bench.   Feni and MZT share the same balance now - 17 wins and 4 losses, but Feni dropped down to the second spot in the table after this loss.
