Sime Spralja: We have chances and we will play to win

Sime Spralja, one of BC Timisoara′s key players spoke to the club website about the team′s chances of advancing through to the quarterfinals in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Spralja quickly became an important player in Predrag Badnjarevic′s rotation, as for four games he averages 20.0 points and 6.3 rebounds. He is s second in points per game and efficiency in the whole BIBL.   "In the win against KK Torus in Skopje, I played without pressure, trying to fill the absence of two of our best players - Bogdan Popescu and Zlatko Jovanovic. We strived for a win and we got it, and also one of our players - Robert Sarovic returned to play after a long-term injury. We still have chances of qualifying to the next round, but reaching the quarterfinals doesn′t depend only on us. However we will play for a win against Mornar Bar, and we will expect a good result from Rilski Sportist and OKK Beograd in Bulgaria. I don′t think that the chances of OKK upsetting Rilski Sportist in Bulgaria are too big, but anything can happen in basketball so we will see."
