BC Timisoara will pursue a win against KK Mornar Bar

BC Timisoara will pursue their chances for qualifying to the quarterfinal phase of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as for this they need a win against Mornar Bar tomorrow night in Timisoara. Along with that they must hope that OKK Beograd will upset BC Rilski Sportist in Samokov, in order for the Romanian side to go through.   Timisoara are currently fourth in Group A of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as they have a balance of 4-5, while KK Mornar Bar are second with 6-3 and they have sealed their place in the quarterfinals.   The two sides have already met, as in the first game in Bar, it was the home team Mornar who took a 79:77 win. Akeem Scott led his side with 19 points, Ivan Jelenic had 15 and Mirza Sarajlija added 13. Dominique Archie and Bogdan Popescu had 14 each for Timisoara, while Nenad Markovic added 11.   Sime Spralja is the key figure for Timisoara in the team′s last games. The Croatian forward averages 20.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Dominique Archie adds 15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while Robert Sarovic (13.0 points), Ivan Siriscevic (13.2), Zlatko Jovanovic (13.0) and Bogdan Popescu (10.4) are the other players who average in double-digit scoring.   Akeem Scott scores 18.2 points per game for KK Mornar, as he also adds 2.3 assists and 2.4 steals. Ivan Jelenic has 16.4 points and 2.8 assists, while Lazar Radosavljevic and Filip Barovic add respectively 11.7 points and 10.7 points per game. Barovic leads the team in rebounding with 6.3 boards per contest.   The game is scheduled for 17.45 local time on the 6th of March in Sala Constantin Jude in Timisoara, and will also be available live on the Internet at Sport Media TV.
