Hapoel Tel Aviv achieved an easy win at home in their game from Round 22 of the Israeli National League regular season. Erez Edelshtein′s squad didn′t have any trouble against the visiting Hapoel Afula, and deservedly got the win with 23 points of difference - 75:52.
Hapoel led by 12 points after the first quarter (24:12), and until the end they kept on adding to the difference, which was settled at 23 points (75:52) after 40 minutes of basketball.
Once again Curtis Kelly led his side in scoring, as the American forward had 22 points in the win. Bar Timor was the other player to score in double digits - 16 points, while Gal Eytan added 9 points and Cory Carr had 8.
This was the team′s 19th win of the season, as they remained on top of the National League after 22 rounds have been played. The team has lost only three games.News
