Levski officially with the first unbeaten season in the history of the BIBL

After the decision regarding KK Ulcinj′s participation and future in the EUROHOLD Balkan League has been taken, it′s official now that BC Levski Sofia are the first team in the history of the BIBL to finish the regular season without a single loss.   The 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League champions finished on the top position in Group B of the 2011/2012 regular season, after winning nine straight games, and adding the 20-0 game against KK Ulcinj.   Levski defeated the reigning BIBL champion KK Feni Industries twice - 67:66 in Sofia and 84:91 in Kavadarci. The team also achieved two wins against the second-placed Hapoel Tel Aviv - 85:78 in Sofia and 79:86 in Tel Aviv.   After finishing on the first position in Group B, Levski secured their place in the Final Four of the Balkan League for the third straight season. We remind you that in 2010 in Sofia they celebrated the championship in Universiada Hall, while in 2011 in Kavadarci they lost to Rilski Sportist in the semifinals.   Aaron Harper has led Levski in the regular season with 17.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists. Marcus Hall added 14.0 points and 4.4 assists, while Jarrett Howell and Hrisimir Dimitrov had 11.8 and 10.9 points respectively. Vassil Evtimov led the team in rebounding with 10.3 boards per game.
