Ivan Lilov: We played good defense in the end

Ivan Lilov became a key figure for KK Feni Industries in their quarterfinal play-off series against Mornar Bar, which the defending EUROHOLD Balkan League champions won 2-0. Lilov came up big when needed in the last seconds of both games, and here is what he had to say, after his team reached the Final 4 for the fourth straight season.
 
"From the very beginning Mornar held a 7-8-point lead and they kept that during the whole game. We allowed them to get too much offensive rebounds and gave them second chance opportunities, that′s why they had the lead."
 
"In the end we played really good defense and with fast breaks we managed to tie the game. However they scored and led the game with one second to go, but our coach Emil Rajkovic took a time-out and it was me who was supposed to take the last shot. I made it and we moved on to the Final 4."
 
"We are all very happy right now, after reaching the Final 4 in a hard fought battle. I hope that in Israel we continue with the good play, and finally put an end to the "tradition" that the home team always wins the trophy".
