Macedonian side KK Lirija has interest in joining the EUROHOLD Balkan League

According to ekipa.mk Macedonian side KK Lirija has interest in joining the EUROHOLD Balkan League from next season. The management of the Skopje-based team has ambition for making an even stronger team and pursuing better performance in the local championship and eventually in the BIBL.
 
Lirija has already extended the contracts of some of the team′s key performers this season - Carlos Morban, Vladimir Filipovic, Balsa Radunovic, Toni Simic and Dime Tasovski, as the last two already have experience in the BIBL and Tasovski even won the title last season with KK Feni Industries.
 
Lirija finished on third place in Macedonia this season with a balance of 16 wins and 11 losses. However it′s the Macedonian federation that proposes the participants in the BIBL from their side, so nothing′s confirmed at this point.
