Domestic leagues: Galil Gilboa started the playoffs with a loss

The 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - Galil Gilboa started the playoffs in Israel with a surprising home loss. Lior Lubin′s side fell short at home against the sixth-placed team from the regular season Maccabi Ashdod - 72:77.   Courtney Fells was the top performer for Galil with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The 2012 BIBL Pepsi MVP - Joseph Jones added 16 points, while Dagan Yivzori had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.   Josh Carter had 24 points for Maccabi Ashdod in the win, while Meir Tapiro added 14 points.   The second game will be played on the 6th of April.
