Hapoel Tel Aviv won the title in the Israeli National League and will return to the Premier League from next season after six years of absence. Erez Edelshtein′s side closed the final playoff series against Maccabi Beer-Yakov at 3-1, after an 56-83 blowout win away from home.   Curtis Kelly led the winners with 19 points. Demontez Stitt added 15 points, Cory Carr had 13 and Yonathan Skjoldebrand came off the bench scoring 11 points.   Chris Watson had 14 points for Maccabi, Jermaine Hall added 13 and Nate Miller finished with 10.   Hapoel finished the regular season at the first spot with a balance of 22-4 and defeated respectively Ironi Ramat in the quarterfinals and Ironi Nes-Ziona in the semifinals.
