Domestic leagues: Levski lost the first game of the finals

THe 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League runner-up - Levski Sofia started the finals in the NBL playoffs with a loss to the reigning champions Lukoil Academic. In Pravets, Levski lost 87:80 and is now trailing 0-1 in the "best of three" series.   Both teams "traded" one quarter - Lukoil won the first period 23:11, while Levski took the second - 21:27 and the score at the half was 44:38 for the home team. In the second half of the game Levski got closer to their opposition, but weren′t able to turn things around and lost by seven in the end - 87:80.   Aaron Harper scored 20 points in the losing effort. Stefan Georgiev added 14, while Pavel Ivanov and Dimitar Angelov finished with 11 points each.   Brandon Heath had 24 for Lukoil, Lamont Mack added 17 and Bruno Sundov finished with 14.   The second game will be played once again in Pravets on May 24th.
