Domestic leagues: Timisoara down 0-3 in the finals

Timisoara once again weren′t able to beat Ploiesti in the playoff finals in Romania. Predrag Badnjarevic′s side lost for the third straight game, this time away from home by eight points of difference - 63:55. After this defeat they are now down 0-3 in the series as Ploeisti needs just one win to celebrate the championship.   Robert Sarovic and Bogdan Popescu were the only players for Timisoara to score in double digits, as Sarovic had 14 points while Popescu finished with 10. Branko Cuic and Zlatko Jovanovic added 8 points each, as Cuic also had 12 rebounds.   Darius Hargrove led Ploiesti with 14 points, whiel three other players had 11 points each - Drasko Albanjic, Arvydas Cepulis and Catalin Burlascu, as Burlascu added 11 rebounds to his statline.
