Domestic leagues: Timisoara with the silver medals in Romania

The Romanian participant in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Timisoara finished the season in their domestic championship with the silver medals.   In the fourth game of the finals they lost 80:78 after overtime to Ploiesti and after this defeat the series ended with a 4-0 win for Ploiesti, the new Romanian champion.   Zlatko Jovanovic scored 20 points for Timisoara in the loss. Branko Cuic added 18, Robert Sarovic had 12 along with 12 rebounds and Bogdan Popescu finished with 11 points.   Timisoara played in Group A of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, where they finished fourth with 5 wins and 5 losses.
