The 19th Nationwide European basketball referees camp finished in Samokov (VIDEO)

The 19th Nationwide European basketball referees camp finished in Samokov, Bulgaria. The camp was held in Bulgaria for the third straight year in cooperation with the EUROHOLD Balkan League, and for the second year in a row the participants in the camp officiated the U16 Boys National Championship.

A total of 53 referees from 18 countries participated in the camp. There were 14 referees from the Balkan area and 8 FIBA International referees.

All 12 clubs, participating in the finals were very happy with the high level of officiating at the games.

The newest software for analysis was be used by the instructors and the camp staff to help the development of the referees.
 
Balkan (Botevgrad) became the champion of Bulgaria for Boys U16, after beating Rilski Sportist (Samokov) 75:54 in the final game in Samokov.
 
All of the participants and camp staff resided in Ela Hotel in Borovets.
