IN MEMORIAM: Macedonian referee Zoran Zlatevski pаssed away

Yesterday was a sad day for Macedonian basketball and for the EUROHOLD Balkan League. One of the great friends of the BIBL - Macedonian referee Zoran Zlatevski pаssed away. Zlatevski, or Zoky as he was known by everybody was officiating in the EUROHOLD BIBL since the first edition back in 2008.   Zlatevski, aged 47, was an active referee since 1983 when he was 18 years old. Zlatevski was fighting wth a disease for a very long time, and unfortunately he didn′t win this battle.   A FIBA international referee since 1995 he was officiating basketball games until the very end.   Zoran Zlatevski officiated two EUROHOLD Balkan League Final Four events - the first one in Samokov in 2009 and the second one - in Sofia in 2010.   The EUROHOLD Balkan League expresses most sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Zoran Zlatevski.   Rest in peace, Zoky!
