11-10-2012 | 17:35
KK Kozuv is one of the new teams in EUROHOLD Balkan League this season and will be looking to impress in its debut in the competition. The roster includes a few players with experience in the League from previous season and this can be said for the coach as well. The newly appointed Marjan Srbinovski was in charge of KK Torus last season and knows the league well.
Dimitar Karadjovski and Darko Radulovic are going to be the main point guards of the team. Both have played in EUROHOLD Balkan League and will be important for KK Kozuv play this season. Aleksandar Djordjevic joined the team recently and will be there to help the team when needed.
On the wing Vladimir Filipovic is expected to have a big contribution as he has good scoring abilities. Igor Penov and Stefan Zivanovic will also receive a lot of playing time and have to step up in order to help their team. KK Kozuv signed Miladin Pekovic who is a good three-point shooter and also has valuable experience in important games.
The new addition Kiril Pavlovski will be a main offensive threat in the frontcourt and his play will be important. He has the skills to average a double double in the competition and nobody will be surprised if he does. The team signed veteran Pero Blazevski as he and Slobodancho Hadji Vasilev will help with their experience. Newly signed Aleksandar Shterjov is most probably going to come off the bench while Slobodan Bojovic will be the most likely substitute of Pavlovski.
KK Kozuv is in group B with the teams of OKK Beograd, BC Kavala, BC Rilski Sportist and KK Teodo. The team will open the new season of EUROHOLD BIBL with an away game at OKK and of course will be looking to get off with a win. However KK Kozuv is one of the team with a chance to get in to the top 6 and surely it will be a tough task for every team to take the win in Gevgelija.
