Team on Focus: KK Mornar

KK Mornar made a name as a team that gives chance to a lot of young players to develop. Despite that the team reached twice the quarterfinals and once the Final Four of EUROHOLD Balkan League and was always one of the teams that played good basketball. It looks like this season the story will be the same as a lot of young players will get their chance in the competition. Of course this was one of the ideas of EUROHOLD BIBL and Mornar is one of the best examples for that.
Andrej Pajovic is expected to be given a greater role than last season and to get a lot of minutes at the point guard position. He is still 20-years old but still qualifies as one of the oldest players. There are a few other point guards in the team and all are born in 1996 - Lazar Pavicevic, Savo Popovic and Balsa Orlandic.
Very important addition for the team is Sead Sehovic. However the Montenegrin international has an option to leave if he gets good offer from abroad. Until that time he will be the main weapon of KK Mornar. Milos Djurisic is a new player in the team and already has in experience in the competition playing of KK Ulcinj last season and probably at time could play the point guard position. Lazar Radosavljevic is still with the team and his height will be difficult to match for the wing players. He and Sehovic will have to lead the team in the competition.
Under the basket KK Mornar has good size and of course a lot of young players. The team signed 25-year old Nemanja Milosevic who can play both frontcourt positions and all the other players are 21 years old of youngers. Mihailo Sekulovic, Vukota Pavic and newly signed Nikola Rondovic will have their chance and will have the minutes to help them develop.
KK Mornar looks very different from the previous season and will be more difficult for the team to advance from that group. However there is no way head coach Mihailo Pavicevic would give up without a fight and we might expect good games from that young squad. KK Mornar is in group A with the teams of BC Galil Gilboa, BC Levski, KK Kumanovo 2009 and KK Djuro Djakovic.
