Team on Focus: OKK Beograd

OKK Beograd is coming back to the EUROHOLD Balkan League and will have a good chance to qualify in top 6. The team has players with experience in the competition and will be looking to make a good impression. OKK added interesting players and with the ones it already had will be a team to watch.
The point guard position will be divided between Vuk Malidzan and Aleksej Nesovic. Malidzan was with the team during the last season as well while Nesovic is a new signing. He is experienced and has played for a lot of teams so he will be important for the way the team will play.
Very experienced Vladimir Popovic and Jovan Koprivica are going to cover the wings of the team. Those two players with Milorad Sutulovic, Filip Sepa and Luka Maksimovic will divide the minutes in positions 2 and 3 and will have to provide most of the scoring for the team.
OKK loaned young prospect Ivan Marinkovic for the frontcourt so he will come in order to grow and develop. For sure he will be motivated enough and with Nikola Jeftic and Stanoje Knezevic OKK will have good size under the basket.
Head coach Srdjan Jekovic has an interesting team and it remains to be seen whether it can challenge for the top spots. OKK will play the first game of this year′s competition and against KK Kozuv we′ll be able to see what the team looks like. OKK Beograd is in group B with BC Kavala, BC Rilski Sportist, KK Kozuv and KK Teodo.
