Yaniv Green joins BC Galil Gilboa

Former Israeli international Yaniv Green has joined BC Galil Gilboa. The center is the new addition of the team and already played his first game. In the first round of the local championship Galil lost at home to Maccabi Rishon 54-70.
Green is very well known players with lots of experience. He has spent a lot of seasons in Maccabi Tel Aviv and has a lot of games in the Euroleague. Green played for this team in 2010/2011 season for last time and averaged 3.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in Europe′s top competition. Last season he played in Italy for Banca Tercas Teramo and for 20 games averaged 4.1 points and 2.2 rebounds.
Green was a regular member of the national team of Israel for more than a decade and played in the last six European championships. He was Euroleague champion in 2005 with Maccabi Tel Aviv and reached the final the following year.
