Three games to round up the first week in EUROHOLD BIBL

The first week of action in EUROHOLD Balkan League will finish today with three games. The competition started yesterday with group B clash and KK Kozuv won away at OKK Beograd.
The first game today starts at 17.30 local time as BC Kavala will make its debut in the tournament. The team hosts BC Rilski Sportist and both teams will look to start off with a win.
BC Kavala has assembled a young roster that will highlight the debut of the team in European competiton. The point guard Christoforos is the most experienced player on the roster and he will have to lead his young teammates. The gym in Kavala will for sure be full as the local fans will be eager to see their players in European tournament. BC Kavala started the new season in the local championship with a loss at home and will be looking to bounce back and take the win.
On the other side BC Rilski Sportist has problems with Branko Mirkovic and is still unclear if he will play in this game. New guard Terry Smith showed good things in the friendly games and he and Hristo Zahariev will have to lead the team in this match. Rilski as well is a young squad and like BC Kavala will use those games to get more experience but for sure will look to steal something tonight as well.
The other team to make its debut in the league today will be KK Kumanovo 2009. Everybody expect at least 5000 fans for the game at home against KK Mornar and they will want to see the first win for their team. KK Kumanovo is a newcomer but there are good players on the roster and especially at home the team will be very tough to beat. KK Mornar will once again give chance to young local players but this doesn′t mean that the hosts will have an easy time. For both teams this is the first official game of the new season and they will look to take off with a good start.
The current EUROHOLD BIBL champion - BC Galil Gilboa will open the new campaign with a home game against KK Djuro Djakovic. The champion of the league has made a lot of changes to the roster and will be interesting for everybody to see how it will look like. Galil already registered a very tough lost at home to Maccabi Rishon by 16 in the first round of the Israeli league and will try hard to take the win and erase that memory.   On the other side KK Djuro Djakovic won its first two matches of the local Croatian championship. The team returns to EUROHOLD Balkan League after a year of absence and for sure the competiton is a lot tougher. However it′s difficult to start away in the gym of the champion but KK Djuro Djakovic will give it a try and test BC Galil Gilboa in the first round.
