Domestic leagues: Big loss for BC Galil Gilboa

Second straight loss in the Israeli championship recorded the team of BC Galil Gilboa. The current EUROHOLD Balkan League champions were blown away at Maccabi Haifa by 66-90.
The home side took a 7-point lead after the first quarter and after three was up by 9. In the decisive minutes Maccabi played very good in offense and didn′t gave a chance to Gilboa. The home team scored 29 points and increased its advantage to 24 at the end.
Kenny Hayes was the top scorer for Galil with 19 points. Rakim Sanders and Yoad Bet-Yosef added 13 apiece but this wasn′t enough for the team.
