Quotes after the game BC Levski Sofia - KK Djuro Djakovic

BC Levski Sofia defeated KK Djuro Djakovic at home 77-73 in a game of group A in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The game was very interesting from start to finish and here is what some of the main participants in it had to say after the end:
Konstantin Papazov, head coach of BC Levski Sofia: "I can say that the team that deserved to win this game was KK Djuro Djakovic. The players traveled 11 hours the day before, the team missed some of its main figures but still fighted hard. They came here and were very close to a deserved win. I give our performance to the Bulgarian mentality."
Nikolay Varbanov, player of BC Levski Sofia: "We are the better team and we knew that. We weren′t prepared very well because we didn′t watch any game of our opponent and we knew that they are using mostly five players. I think we underestimated them a little bit and everybody saw it was a difficult game right to the end. I don′t think there was any pressure, probably we weren′t focused enough for this game. Our ambition in the league is to reach the final and win it."
Krunoslav Krajnovic, head coach of KK Djuro Djakovic: "I don′t know what to say after having the lead for 38 minutes and finally losing at the end. I can only congratulate my players for this good match and good fight that they showed. Three of our starters didn′t play in this game but yet we played an excellent match. I congratulate Levski for the victory and I can say that we expect to finish in third place in our group."
Marko Batina, player of KK Djuro Djakovic: "First of all I would like to congratulate Levski for the great game and the victory of course. I also have to say that I′m very proud of my teammates because we did very good, we played really hard even though we had short roster. We had a good game but we lost and it′s the result that counts. Overall I′m very satisfied. Our goal is to reach the second round of EUROHOLD Balkan League. So we need to win all of our home games and hopefully to get victories away at KK Mornar and KK Kumanovo. We′ll do our best and if we win all of our home games we will have a reason to hope we can advance to the second round."
