BC Galil Gilboa signed shooting guard Jamar Smith

EUROHOLD BIBL Champion - BC Galil Gilboa announced that the 25 year old shooting guard, Jamar Smith, signed with the team and will join it very soon. Smith just got cut from Boston Celtics ten days ago and Galil Gilboa, who started the season bad, jumped on the opportunity and signed him.
Smith started his way at Illinois college and after two years he moved to Southern Indiana college. In 2010 he played in the D-League and one year later moved to play in the Venezuelan league. Last year he played at Czech club, Prostejov, where he averaged 14.9 pts and 1.4 asists per game. He was very impressive during summer league with 9.2 pts per game and signed a non-guaranted contract with the Boston Celtics but finally couldn′t make it into Doc Rivers′s squad.
BC Galil Gilboa started the local championship with two losses but in group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League the team has two wins from two games.
