KK Teodo to make its debut in the league today

Two games will round up the third week of action in EUROHOLD Balkan League. In group A the current champion - BC Galil Gilboa, is going for its third win in the competition. The team will host KK Kumanovo 2009 in Gan Ner and will be looking to make another step towards the qualification in the next round.
BC Galil started with a difficult home win against KK Djuro Djakovic while last week crushed KK Mornar away. So far the team is performing well in EUROHOLD BIBL while this cannot be said for the local championship where BC Galil started with three straight defeats. However the team from Gan Ner remains the favourite for today and is going to go hard for the win. New signing Jamar Smith will probably make his debut in the competition while Dagan Yivtzori is so far the team′s top scorer with 17.0 points.
KK Kumanovo 2009 played good in the first round but at the end fought hard to get just 2 points win in front of EUROHOLD BIBL record crowd of 5 000 people. Ivica Dimcevski finished with 26 points and 9 rebounds for the win and the hero was Aleksandar Kostoski who scored the winning basket. The team of Ljubislav Lukovic cannot be underestimated and surely will be going for the win tonight. KK Kumanovo has some interesting options and will be looking to make the life very tough for their hosts.
In group B KK Teodo (Tivat, MNE) will make today its debut in the competition. After resting for the first two weeks the team will now host OKK Beograd. While for Teodo this is the first game and the team has all the chances to qualify this may be one of the last for OKK. The Belgrade squad lost its first two games and a third defeat will damage the chances for a top 3 position. OKK fought well last week against BC Kavala but just started the comeback very late. Vladimir Popovic is averaging 13.5 points so far while Aleksej Nesovic has 13.0 per game.
On the other side KK Teodo is coming to this home game on a high after starting its local championship with two straight wins. The last one came against the other EUROHOLD BIBL participant - KK Mornar, and this is a good sign for the confidence of the team. KK Teodo has some young players alongside experienced ones and will be interesting to watch their debut in the competition.
