Shay Shtriks visited Prishtina

The Sports Director of EUROHOLD Balkan League Mr. Shay Shtriks was for a visit yesterday  in Prishtina where he met the people from the Federation and 2 clubs - Peja and Sigal Prishtina. This visit came after a mutual decision between him and the Executive Director Mr. Assen Chrsitov that such a visit should be done, after it was presented to FIBA and did not meet any objection or disapproval by the organization.   The general idea is that either Peja or Sigal Prishtina could play in some way in the Balkan League but there are lots of issues to be finalized first - agreement between the team and the League, calendar, terms, official regulations, financial situation, discussions with the member Federations of BIBL and the other teams. All these details were discussed with the basketball community in Prishtina where also Mr. Shtriks checked the facilities and the organizations inside the 2 teams. What he saw looks satisfactory and gives hope for positive result in the near future but all the above-mentioned details must be closed prior to any official decision will be taken. He believes in the next days, those things will be finalized.   The Federation strongly recommended for Sigal Prishtina to participate which of course will be taken into consideration by the Management of the League once there is a final agreement.   Any other news that are not coming officially by the Sports Director of EUROHOLD Balkan League and are not published here on the official website of the League, shall be considered rumours, false and can disturb and badly influence the job and good will of the people working for the realization of that project.
