Domestic leagues: First loss for Levski, first win for Rilski Sportist

BC Levski Sofia lost for first time this season. In the third round of the local championship the team was defeated away 64-91 by the champions - Lukoil Academic. The home side started very well the game and took the early lead. At the end of the first quarter it was 13 points while at the end of the first half it became 21. In the second Lukoil Academic had no problems and won the match.   Pavel Ivanov had 13 points and 9 rebounds for BC Levski while Marko Marinovic added 11 points.   Meanwhile in the same round first win of the championship recored BC Rilski Sportist. The team had a tough road game but eventually defeated Spartak Plaven 84-80. It was an even match that was decided in the final minute. The team entered it with a point advantage for BC Rilski Sportist and in the closing seconds the visitors played better and won.   Terry Smith had 22 points for the winners while 16 and 9 rebounds added
