Second straight win for KK Teodo

Second straight win in group B took KK Teodo. The team from Tivat won at home against KK Kozuv by 75-68. This means that KK Teodo now has a record of 2 wins and 0 losses while KK Kozuv is 2-2. Next game for the squad from Tivat is at home against BC Kavala while KK Kozuv will visit BC Rilski Sportist. Both matches are next week on November 13th.

The hosts took off with a great start and had a 13-2 lead with three minutes played. KK Kozuv finally managed to organize themselves and soon were down only by 3 points. However KK Teodo didn′t allow the visitors to tie the game and were up 25-16 after the first quarter.

In the second one the hosts took a 13-point lead and in the next minutes stayed in front. Once again though the advantage went down to singled digits and after Aleksandar Shterjov scored for the visitors he made the score 32-29 for Teodo with three and a half minutes to play in the quarter. In those minutes the hosts managed to increased the lead and were up 46-35 after Marko Mijovic scored three-pointer to finish the first half.

For the whole third quarter Teodo managed to keep the lead in double digits. The team had control of the game and had a big advantage. It was 14-16 points, once it became 17 and after the end of the quarter Teodo led 63-47.

With a basket by Mijovic the hosts had a 68-54 lead with 03.40 minutes to play in the game. Then Kozuv made a 8-0 run and cut the deficit to just 6 points with 54 seconds to play. In the final moments of the match the hosts scored 7 of their 8 free throws and sealed the game.

Top scorer for the winners was Marko Mijovic with 19 points. Savo Djikanovic had 15 points and 8 rebounds while Sinisa Tepavcevic added 13 points.
