KK Kumanovo 2009 took very important win at home against KK Djuro Djakovic. The team won 83-67 and now has 2 wins and 1 loss in group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Here is what the head coach of the team - Ljubislav Lukovic, had to say after the end of the game:
"First I want to congratulate the team of Djuro Djakovic for showing it is a great young squad with good chemistry and led by a good coach. We had a let down for a small part of the game but our fans gave us big support and with good defense we managed to shut down their best players and get the win which is very important. We are happy with the victory that confirms that in our country is played good basketball. I expect and hope to continue to play in this style in the next big matches that are awaiting us. I′m very happy with the players because I have in my team guys with big will who played in this game even with injuries and on injections. We have an excellent team chemistry and I believe that this team will grow grom match ot mach in the local championship and in international competition."
