KK Teodo makes it three out of three after big win

KK Teodo (Tivat,MNE) made it three wins out of three games in group B in EUROHOLD Balkan League. At home in Tivat the team defeated BC Kavala (Kavala, GRE) 98-71 and is still unbeaten. However it is worth mentioning that Teodo has played all of its games at home and for this match the visitors missed some of the key players. In the next round the team from Tivat will host Rilski Sportist on November 21th while BC Kavala will visit the team from Samokov on 27th.

After an even start to the match the hosts made the first run after the middle of the first quarter. They scored 10 straight points and went up by 11. Until the end of it Kavala did manage to come back in the game and after ten minutes Teodo led 25-22.

The second quarter started on a 12-0 run for the hosts and those minutes showed that Kavala wouldn′t have the strength to fight for the win. Until the end of the first half Teodo kept its advantage and were up 55-39 at the break.

In the second half the things got worse for Kavala. The hosts kept the lead in the third quarter and they ended in on a 19-1 run that put them up by whole 34 points, 84-50, after 30 minutes of play. In the last quarter the lead went up to 38 points but in the final minutes the visitors managed to cut some of the deficit.

Igor Kunjic was the top scorer for the winners with 21 points in just 15 minutes. Aleksandar Radulovic had 18 points and 8 rebounds while Manuel Johnson added 17 and 8.

For Kavala some of the key players took a rest and Steven Panos finished with a game-high 14 points. Nikolaos Stilianou and Petros Velissariou added 10 points apiece in the heavy loss.
