Domestic leagues: BC Rilski Sportist defeated BC Levski in a battle between two EUROHOLD BIBL teams

Third straight win in the local championship took the team of Rilski Sportist. In the derby game against other EUROHOLD BIBL participant - BC Levski, the team from Samokov won 90-85. Now after five rounds in the championship both teams have 3-2 record.
Rilski had a double digit lead for most of the first half but Levski finished it good cut the deficit. The Blues had an 8-point lead after the end of the third quarter but the last one started on a 9-0 run for Rilski. Levski answered with 7 straight points but later after 8-0 run for the hosts they took a 7-point lead with just a minute to go and held on to it.
Branko Mirkovic was the top scorer for the winners with 21 points while Terry Smith and Stanislav Slaveykov added 19 apiece.
For Levski 19 points had Stefan Georgiev and 17 Marko Marinovic.
