The mayor of Kumanovo Zoran Damjanovski: EUROHOLD Balkan League is a good choice for us

The mayor of the city of Kumanovo - Zoran Damjanovski, is one of the people responsible for the rise of the local team in the previous years. He is very emotional in his support of KK Kumanovo 2009 and is one of its biggest fans. Here is what Mr. Damjanovski said for the first season of the team in EUROHOLD Balkan League:   "Our team was created three years ago and even before I became a mayor I was always connected with the team in some way - either in the board or as a director. We have a big desire to increase the level of the basketball in Kumanovo and in our country in general. EUROHOLD Balkan League is a very good choice for us because we are a team that wants to prove itself on the Balkans. We still don′t have such quality players but the boys in the team are giving their best, fighting in every game and let′s not forget that we have a great fans.
It′s a tradition for us to have 5 000 people on every game and I think this will continue. We had some good results so far in the competition and I expect us to get in to the Top 6. I hope that we might add some new players and also will give a chance to the younger ones."
