Both BC Levski and BC Rilski Sportist recorded their fourth wins in the local championship. The team had a winning end to the week and stand at 4-2 record in the league. This puts them joined for 2-4 place after six rounds.
BC Levski had no problems and defeated the U20 National team that plays in the top league. The Blues took the victory by 99-51 as they led from start to finish.
Zlatin Georgiev was the top scorer with 21 points, Ventsislav Petkov added 14 and 8 rebounds while Dimitar Dimitrov and Pavel Ivanov had 12 points apiece.
Fourth straight victory in the league had Rilski Sportist. The team from Samokov won away at Cherno more Port Varna 86-73 and continued to play good in recent weeks. Rilski started good the match and took a double digit lead after the first quarter as they kept it until the end.
Hristo Zahariev had one of his best games this season and finished with 24 points and 4 assists. Branko Mirkovic had 15 and 7 as 11 points apiece scored Terry Smith and Tony Gugino.
