Domestic leagues: First win of the season for BC Kavala

After 7 straight defeats in the local league BC Kavala finally took a victory. The team had lost a few games by just one point difference and now it was victorious by that margin. BC Kavala took its first win after 73-72 away at Dramas.
It was the first game for the new head coach Angelos Koronios and he couldn′t start in a better way. Kavala was down by 7 points after the third quarter but turned the score in the last one. With 30 seconds to play Stefanidish scored to make it a 4 point game but the hosts cut the deficit to 1. However they didn′t have the time to do more and Kavala took the win.
Anthony Grundy, Sotirios Manolopoulos and Nikolaos Stylianou were the top scorers for the winners with 12 points apiece. Steve Panos had good game from the bench and added 10 points.
