Domestic leagues: Kumanovo 2009 and Kozuv go on top of the league

KK Kumanovo 2009 and KK Kozuv are now on top of their league. The teams shared this position last week with former champion Feni Industries but after they lost the two squads that are part of EUROHOLD Balkan League are now the leaders with 6 wins and 2 losses.
Kumanovo had no problems and defeated Vardar at home by 87-65. The team won all four quarters of the game and took the victory despite missing players like Ivica Dimcevski and Uros Lukovic. In their absence very good game had Marjan Janeski with 22 points and 8 rebounds while 16 points apiece had Dejan Mikic and Aleksandar Kostoski.
In the same time Kozuv surprised Rabotnicki away and took a precious 92-84 victory. The team from Gevgelija was losing by 11 points after the first half but came back in the third quarter and cut the deficit to just 5 points. In the last ten minutes Kozuv outscore their opponents 31-18 and won. Top scorer was Slobodan Bozovic with 19 points adding also 7 rebounds. Miladin Pekovic added 16 points while 15 had Pero Blazevski.
