Galil Gilboa with no problems for fifth win in group A

Galil Gilboa (Gan Ner, ISR) won its fifth game in group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team had no problems at home and defeated KK Mornar (Bar, MNE) 81-57. This puts the current champions of the tournament with 5 wins and 2 losses and in the last game they will host BC Levski on January 15th. KK Mornar meanwhile is with a 2-5 record and will finish the first phase visiting Levski in two days on Thursday.

Galil won all four quarters of the match and was building its lead throughout the whole time. The hosts had a 4-point advantage after the first quarter and the lead went in to double digits at the break. In the second half Galil had no problems and finished off its opponent.

The hosts had the redounding advantage (34-25) and also moved the ball well making 24 assists compared to 9 for Mornar. Galil also shot 50% from the field making 29 out of 59 attempts while Mornar were 37% with 19 from 52.

Amit Simchon was the top scorer for the winners with 17 points. Rakim Sanders had 12 and 8 rebounds while Yaniv Green had 10 points.

For the visitors Nikola Rondovic finished with 15 points while Lazar Radosavljevic scored 11.
