BC Kavala signed a new player

BC Kavala strengthened the squad with a new player. This is 29-year old Kieron Achara who is coming from Glasgow Rocks. He started the new season in United Kingdom and had an averages of 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Achara is 208 cm tall and can play both positions under the basket. In the summer of 2012 he was part of the team of Great Britain that was the hosts of the Olympic games. There Achara played in 4 matches and averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.

BC Kavala currently has 4 wins and 3 losses in group B of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team is not yet qualified for Top 6 and in the last game is playing away at Rilski Sportist. Kavala will advance further with a win but can do so even with a loss but it depends on the result from the other game.
