Domestic leagues: BC Galil Gilboa defeated in the first game of 2013

Current EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - BC Galil Gilboa, lost its first game of the new year. The team played away at Maccabi Rishon and lost 59-69 and is still last in the standings with 3 wins and 9 defeats.
Maccabi started better the game and went up by 10 points after the first quarter. In the next two Galil managed to cut the deficit and was down by 4 points before the last ten minutes. However in the deciding moments the hosts did hold on to their advantage and took the victory.
Top scorer for Galil was Rakim Sanders with 15 points. Kenny Hayes added 10 and 7 rebounds while Brandon Hunter also had 10 points.
