The test happened to be 100% successful

The last round of the first phase in EUROHOLD Balkan League offered a lot of excitement and most importantly the test for the competition happened to be 100% successful. All four games were played in a fair way, all the teams battled for the win and three of the matches were decided in the final seconds. The last round had to determine which teams will go to Top 6 with two spots being unknown before those games. The matches offered a lot of drama but at the end everything was successful and everybody should be satisfied with the way this round was played.

The teams that are qualified for Top 6 from both groups are - BC Galil Gilboa (Gan Ner, ISR), BC Levski (Sofia, BUL), KK Kumanovo 2009 (Kumanovo, MKD) from group A and BC Rilski Sportist (Samokov, BUL), KK Teodo (Tivat, MNE) and BC Kavala (Kavala, GRE) from group B. What will make the second phase exceptionally interesting is the fact that all the teams are going in it with the same record. The results from the first phase between those that are qualified are counting and the table will show that every single team in Top 6 will start with 2 wins and 2 losses. There is no doubt that this will provide us a lot of interesting game and intense battle for reaching the Final 4.

The teams of KK Djuro Djakovic (Slavonski Brod, CRO), KK Mornar (Bar, MNE), KK Kozuv (Gevgelija, MKD) and OKK Beograd (Belgrade, SER) will play in the Last 4. Djuro Djakovic and Kozuv will start this stage with 2 wins while Mornar and OKK will be with two defeats.

The games in Top 6 will start next week on January 22nd while those in the Last 4 will start on January 29th.
