Domestic leagues: Levski and Rilski won before the game between them

Levski and Rilski Sportist will meet on the first round of Top 6 in EUROHOLD Balkan League and then three days later as well in the local championship. Before those games both teams were victorious in the league and continue to be 2nd and 3rd in the standings respectively.
Levski had its 8th straight win after 81-68 away at Spartak Pleven. The Blues from Sofia took the lead from the start and at times had a 19-point advantage. Dimitar Anguelov was the top scorer with 15 points while Ventsislav Petkov had 14.
Rilski Sportist had no problems in defeating the U20 National team after 90-69 at home. A run of 19-1 at the end of the first and the start of the second quarter helped the hosts pull away and they controlled the game until the final buzzer. Terry Smith finished with 20 points while 19 added Branko Mirkovic.
