EUROHOLD Balkan League with a warning to all the clubs

EUROHOLD Balkan League with a warning to all the clubs Terry Smith
23-01-2013 | 13:26
Yesterday during the game between Levski and Rilski Sportist from the first round in Top 6 of EUROHOLD Balkan League there were a few unpleasent sounds from the fans of the home team. They were directed towards Terry Smith and Braxton Dupree and were because of their skin colour. At one point the game was even stopped as the head coach of Levski - Konstantin Papazov had to address the fans in order to stop making those sounds. Unfortunately they didn′t take notice and continued for most of the time left in the game with racist-wise shouting.

The Executive director Mr. Assen Hristov and the Sports director Mr. Shay Shtriks will send a strong warning for all the teams in EUROHOLD Balkan League that if something like this happens again they will have to pay severe sanctions. The clubs will be penalized and even a game can be stopped in order to pull out the fans and it may continue without any spectators. The clubs are responsible for the behaviour of their fans. They are not fans of EUROHOLD Balkan League, they are fans of a club and such behaviour will not be tollerated.

Levski will receive very strong letter from the managament of the league because of all this. It will be a warning and if it happens again for sure the club will be punished very severe.
