Kozuv won the first game in the Last 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Gevgeljia hosted KK Mornar and was victorious by 72-64. This puts the team with 3 wins and 0 defeats in this round while Mornar has 0 wins and 3 losses. In the next round Kozuv will visit KK Djuro Djakovic on February 20th while Mornar will host OKK Beograd.   Both teams had a slow start as they didn’t score a lot in the first minutes. The first team to pull away was Kozuv as the hosts scored 8 straight points and took a 14-4 lead. Mornar did cut the deficit to 5 points but the home team scored the final points in the first quarter as it finished 20-13.    The second one was very very bad for Kozuv. At one point the advantage went up to 12 points but the home team cut the deficit and after 20 minutes Mornar was up 36-29.    The away team continued to have the lead until the middle of the third quarter. Kozuv was trying to reduce the deficit and at that point the team once again took the lead. In the next minutes both teams exchanged baskets and leads and after the end of the quarter Mornar still had the advantage – 56-54.    Kozuv scored the first 8 points in the last quarter and the team went up by 6. With less than four minutes to play the visitors did close down to 2 points but the hosts scored the next 8 and they won the game.   Aleksandar Shterjov was the top scorer for the winners with 20 points. Miladin Pekovic finished with 14 and 4 assists while Dimitar Karadjovski had 13 points.   Top scorer for the visitors was Milos Djurisic with 13 points. Vukota Pavic had 12 and 5 rebounds while Miroslav Damjanovic scored 11.
