Domestic leagues: Kozuv stays on top, Kumanovo 2009 lost a thriller in overtime

KK Kozuv stayed on top in the local league after the games of the 11th round. The team from Gevgelija had no problems in defeating Vardar at home and won 82-60. This puts the team with 9 victories and 2 losses and it holds the first place in the standings.
Kozuv won the first quarter 22-12 and until the end the team just had to hold on to its lead and managed to do so. Miladin Pekovic was the top scorer with 14 points while Darko Radulovic had 12. 11 points apiece in the game scored Igor Penov, Dimitar Karadjovski and Igor Mijalovic.
In the same time  second straight heartbreaking defeat suffered the team of Kumanovo 2009. They played away to Feni Industries and lost 91-93 in overtime. After this round Kumanovo has 6 wins and 5 losses and is on 4th place in the standings.
With less than three minutes to play Kumanovo had an 11-point lead but then Feni made a 14-0 run and took the lead. At the end of the regular time Dejan Mikic scored for the visitors and sent the game to overtime. In the extra minutes Feni started better and had the lead but in the final seconds Kumanovo cut the deficit to just 2 points. The team even had the chance to win but Kostoski and Dimcevski missed three-pointers.
Aleksandar Kostoski had 31 points in the losing effort while Uros Lukovic added 21 and 12 rebounds.
